Every now and then someone posts a nebulous too good to be true rumor that they’re absolutely convinced about. You know the kind. Like this one. I know with almost certainty that this is fake. How? Well, when someone mentions that they heard it from someone who heard it from an Apple rep on the show floor at Macworld you can be pretty sure it’s not true. Apple reps NEVER pre announce things, or even hint that something is coming. Trust me. They’re well trained (ie fear of steve) not to. So nice and all as it sound, I’m afraid it’s unlikely that there will be an earth shattering announcement from Apple this month. Sorry guys.
(Of course, the problem with rumors is that you never know – at the end of the day anything can happen – so I could be wrong. But probably not)
