Just when you thought it couldn’t get any stranger, it seems that for bloggers, Apple’s App Store policy is the gift that keeps on giving. The latest is an internet radio application called Cast Catcher on the grounds that:
CastCatcher Internet Radio cannot be posted to the App Store because it is transferring excessive volumes of data over the cellular network, which as outlined in the iPhone SDK Agreement section 3.3.15, is prohibited.
Fair Enough. Except that Apple approved the previous three versions of the Application, and there are numerous other internet radio applications on the App store. I suppose the mistake was to apply some kind of logic to the process.
